Global news: Japan Published Their First PuraStat Case Report

Last month, the first PuraStat case report in Japan was published. Written by Dr Takuto Hikichi (Fukushima Medical University Hospital, Japan), this case report showed the effective use of PuraStat in treating venous bleeding during mucosal incision following endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of the greater curvature of upper gastric body in a patient with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP).
The patient showed no adverse events.
